PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY WILL ENTER PHASE 3 FOR COVID-19 VACCINATIONS TODAY, APRIL 12

County Executive Reminds Residents to Make Sure They are Pre-registered with the County Health Department

LARGO, MD – Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks announced today that the County will move to Phase 3 for COVID-19 vaccinations effective today, April 12, 2021. All individuals 16 or older that live or work in Prince George’s County, and have pre-registered with the County Health Department, will be able to receive appointments at the County’s vaccination clinics. Seniors and individuals with underlying medical conditions that increase their risk for severe COVID-19 illness will continue to be prioritized for appointments.

“Due to our continued progress in administering vaccines and an increased availability of vaccines, we are able to move forward with the State and open vaccine eligibility to all residents ages 16 and older,” said Alsobrooks. “We want to encourage everyone to sign up to receive this life-saving vaccine so you can join the growing number of Prince Georgians who are Proud to be Protected from COVID-19.”

The County is reminding everyone that individuals who live or work in Prince George’s County must pre-register in order to receive a vaccine appointment with the Prince George’s County Health Department. No walk-ups are being accepted at Health Department vaccination clinics at this time.
